Today’s world is more uncertain, fragile, complex, and entangled than ever. Existing risks in global supply chain networks become harder to assess and manage while new unknown elusive risks appear constantly. In such an environment, executives need to develop their risk intelligence to anticipate and take the right risks through right perceptions. In a nutshell, this workshop will provide the strategic pillars of risk intelligence in global supply chain networks.

Çağrı HaksözProfessor Çağrı Haksöz, PhD

Professor Haksöz is a faculty member of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Sabancı School of Management, SabancıUniversity, Istanbul, Turkey and an affiliate member of the Regent’s Centre for Transnational Studies, Regent’s College, London, UK. He is the co-director of the MIT-Sabancı University Energy Security Initiative (MSESI). His books include Managing Supply Chains on The Silk Road: Strategy, Performance and Risk (2011), Global Perspectives: Turkey (2012), Risk Intelligent Supply Chains: How Leading Turkish Companies Thrive in the Age of Fragility (2013). He is a consultant and speaker for national/international firms as well as government organizations. Professor Haksöz is an Advisor at iGBS (ISCEA Global Business Solutions).
