However, just drawing process diagrams and using process tools is not enough to assure a successful BPM project that gives you the improvement results.
To get the most out of process efforts a process methodology is needed that provides a roadmap to successful execution of process projects.
This 4 day interactive process methodology course will walk you through the most effective approach to get the most out of your process efforts. The course includes exercises organized around a case study concept and will also include the following key factors:
- A well-defined methodology that accommodates but is independent of a specific tool
- Use of standards and accepted concepts such as BPMN2 and process architecture.
- A tool suite not a single tool for leveraging the process effort that supports standards and includes quantitative and phrase analytics for analysis
- A formal project management approach
Prerequisites:
- A laptop is required and must allow installation of software.
- Delegates should have process mapping experience.
Certification Requirements
All course attendees must meet minimum testing standards including in-class exercises to receive certification (75% is the passing grade).

Meet your expert course trainer: Frank Kowalkowski
Frank Kowalkowski is President of Knowledge Consultants, Inc., a firm focusing on business performance, business/IT architecture and business analytical techniques. He has over 30 years of management and consulting experience in a wide variety of industries. He has been involved with many projects including business analysis, process management, business performance measurement, business and competitive intelligence and knowledge management.
In addition to being a keynote speaker at international conferences as well as a conference chair, he has written numerous papers and spoken at conferences on a variety of subjects. He is the author of a 1996 book on Enterprise Analysis (Prentice – Hall, ISBN 0-13-282-3365) and numerous papers.
Frank is currently working on a both a BPM book for managers and a new edition of the enterprise analysis book. He conducts frequent seminars nationally and internationally on a variety of business management and information technology topics. He is co author of a quarterly column on architecture for the website TDAN (www.tdan.ae).
